President Obama will lose the next election if he does not pass Single Payer Universal Health Care in his first term. We have to start getting our act together NOW to put the Single Payer candidate in the Oval Office.. Dennis Kucinich !

It is far from failing in either of those nations. Turn off Fox News and turn off your AM talk radio and start reviewing more scholarly resources. Perhaps go take a sociology class in health and illness at the local university.

From my professional experience, people like you that oppose government-supported health care are the ones that are generally healthy and never need it. Once I diagnose people like you with metastatic cancer and you lose your insurance, your opinion always changes.

The for profit health care system currently operating(not very well might I interject), is a racket shouldered by the middle class so the elite and many of our elected officials can profit.

And Max, may I add to your closing statement, single payer is not at the table because they did not pay you for a seat. Max, we know what you are, how much does a seat at the table cost. Put a red light outside your office Max, might as well advertise your services.

She should visit a local independent agent. The agent works with most of the plans available in her area and can work with her to find the best plan for her situation and budget. The plans and premiums are exactly the same whether she uses the agent of buys directly from the company. Also, if she has pre-existing conditions or is out of the height and weight guidelines she might get declined. The agent can help find a company that will accept her.

Well it is not that people working in dental insurance
companies are any different than the people working
in health insurance or life insurance or car insurance
companies. It is just that the dental insurance per se
does not make much business sense these days, so it needs
to be augmented with exclusion clauses in the policy,
with waiting periods, and annual limits. This annoys
the dentists and the consumers as the question
illustrates. There are more sensible
alternatives to dental insurance that make more business
sense and are basically based on negotiating or
pre-negotiating lower costs for the participants.

This is a terrific discussion. I hope everyone that visits this page takes the time to watch them whole presentation and then research the matter more for themselves.

The United States stands alone among all of the developed nations in NOT offering medical care to all of it’s citizens. We need to stop being selfish and realize that it is okay for us to care about each other and actually take care of each other.
