Aetna is one of the companies we represent. Solid dental coverage, but it depends on what policy you have with them. Preventive coverage will be solid but major items will have some out of pocket expense.

This is how I see it. If you are blessed with only 1 cavity in 10 years, choosing Dental HMO is better. Why pay more, when you don't really need too.

Any other dental insurance will 'work' in conjuction with Aetna.. it's called coordination of benefits. Just be aware that some companies have a clause that will not pay for some treatments when the primary insurance has already paid… it's called a 'non-duplication' clause.
